So...it was an evening of Friday 29th 2009, and it did happen...

My name is Roberto Gomes, I'm a 22 years old guy from João Pessoa, Brazil...
...I take what I consider a normal life...
...I am an architecture student, however I'm not good at this...
...I know I'm good in being a soccer goalkeeper, in playing string musical instruments...

...but the thing I love to do is to draw, and thank God that He gave me a gift...to portray the things I want, the way I want...

...and thanks also for that...

...I saw my entry appear amongst the 50 semifinalists of the DA/Wacom "Bring your vision to life" contest!!!

I must admit, I imagined that...but this turned into reality! This is more than a dream come true...this is a life reward!
I'm sure I won't sleep today...this is something beyond exciting...I don't have words for it...it's something historical, I'd even say, not only for me, or my family...but for the city, the country I live!

All I can say by now is:

"Thank you"

From my heart, I say thank you...to all the people who know I exist, or have ever seen my work, who like my work...and wishes all the best for me!

To these people, I say:
