It's not that I don't like society, It's that I've been forced to live out side of it due to the over whelming force of: conservatives, conformists, liberals, republicans, democrats, enviromentalists, terrorists, right wingers, religous zealots, media...
1- I study Architecture at university AND I'm participating of a virtual reality research project at university AND I do freelance illustrations in my city, this means I can barely have extra time for other things =X
2- It was a long process of: character designing, paper drawing, nankin covering, scanning, digital painting, retouching, compositing, refining and post-processing all along the way...I believe I spent no less than 40h on that drawing =X
3- I have a bugged Trust Tablet, with flaws in some resolution lines, adding extra difficulty to that drawing
Good and Evil are always present in our lives, whether in the most common or the most unlikely things.Having this in mind, I thought school was a nice background to show that:
Who never had a really cruel, threatening, terrifying...evil teacher at school? That type of teacher who really don't care about what the students think?
After that, I thought on the Good side characters, and I decided to do some little children. They are cute, they are the innocence in pure form...and, in this case, they fight for a good reason: they don't want to be opressed anymore by evil teachers, they want to learn...
In some words, that's the idea behind the drawing
